A professional quality pizza oven is expensive in a home kitchen is too expensive and takes up too much space. An outdoor pizza oven is fine during the summer and requires a long trip between one's kitchen and the patio. Therefore, the Cuisinart indoor pizza oven is a perfect compromise. Using 1,800 watts, the oven can reach temperature well above the 500°F of a conventional oven and has the space to make a 12± inch pizza within a few minutes. I have made about 20 pizzas since I purchased my oven. All were easy to insert and remove from the oven. All were much better than those I make in my large oven -- which consumes far more power. But wait, there's more. Although it may be called a pizza oven, it's really a countertop oven. Therefore, I use it when I want to bake small items and do not want to heat my large oven.

We haven't made a homemade Pizza yet, but have tried numerous brands/types of Frozen Pizza and they *all* have come out perfect w/ hot toppings and a slightly crisp crust on the bottom. I believe the combination of a compact space and Pizza Stone is the secret. I like the straight-forward controls. The only thing I wish is that the LED lights for the timer shut-off after the unit cools-down; you have to actually unplug the unit to make the LED timer lights go off.

This pizza oven works great. It heats up relatively fast and cooks pretty evenly. I’ve used pizza dough and made my own. Good outcome each time. Would recommend this to anyone. The price was also very fair.

      Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bang for your buck I had been researching indoor pizza ovens for a while, but couldn't convince myself to pay a grand for one. When I found this one, I had to give it a shot and wasn't disappointed. Internal temp hits 700 degrees F and fluffs/crisps the pizza nicely. Warning though, don't use too much flour when sliding the pizza in because the really high temperature burns the flour almost immediately. But that applies to basically any pizza oven. Overall, I'm really happy Cuisinart released this affordable option!
