Sweet Waffles

Follow this simple recipe for homemade sweet Waffles, which are crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle and perfectly golden brown. Ready in less than 10 minutes they make a delicious breakfast, brunch or dessert can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 250g plain flour
  • 1 tbsp. caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 400ml semi skimmed milk
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 30ml vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Insert the waffle plates into the Waffle & Pancake Maker and preheat to medium.
  2. Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix until you have a smooth batter. Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
  3. When the green indicator light shows, pour approximately 60ml batter into each waffle plate.
  4. Close the lid and cook for approximately 3 to 3½ minutes.
  5. Remove the waffles and repeat with the remaining batter.
  6. Serve with your choice of toppings.
