      Use the reheat function to warm your toast, without over browning and the defrost function to defrost and toast in a single cycle. The bagel setting adds extra time for best results, with thicker breads, rolls, muffins and bagels.

The knobs just turn so you don't really know how dark the toast will come out, the advertised slots are 1-1/2 inches and appear to be only 1", the lift does not lift the items out evenly. My previous Cuisinart toaster was sturdy and I was so happy with it. Not so with this one.
