Pulled BBQ Chicken & Bacon Buns

Pulled BBQ Chicken & Bacon Buns

This is the kind of BBQ chicken bun that tastes like it took all afternoon, but the ClearView has it on the table in under 25 minutes. The chicken cooks juicy, shreds perfectly, and soaks up that smoky BBQ sauce, while the bacon adds the crispy, salty bits that make every bite ridiculous. Stacked into toasted brioche with cool coleslaw, it’s the ultimate fake‑away lunch — messy, satisfying, and absolutely not your average air fryer sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • ½ tsp onion granules
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 4 rashers streaky bacon
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 4 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 100g coleslaw

Preparation

  1. Coat the chicken breasts with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic granules, onion granules, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place into the ClearView Air Fryer and cook at 190°C for 16–18 minutes, turning halfway.
  3. Add the bacon during the last 8 minutes of cooking until crispy.
  4. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes, then shred using two forks.
  5. Mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce.
  6. Chop the bacon into pieces and stir through the chicken.
  7. Toast the brioche buns in the ClearView for 2 minutes at 180°C.
  8. Fill each bun with coleslaw and BBQ chicken mixture.
