Jumbo Pork Sausage Rolls

Jumbo Pork Sausage Rolls

Big, golden, bakery‑style sausage rolls — but made lighter with lean pork mince and cooked to perfection in the ClearView. These come out crisp, flaky and properly jumbo, with that classic sage‑and‑onion flavour you expect from a good sausage roll, just without the grease. Perfect for lunchboxes, meal prep, picnics, or grabbing warm straight from the air fryer. They taste like the kind you’d buy from a bakery counter… only you made them in under 25 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 500g lean pork mince (5% fat)
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp onion granules
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten (for glazing)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the ClearView Air Fryer to 180°C Air Fry.
  2. In a bowl, combine the lean pork mince, egg, garlic granules, onion granules, sage, and black pepper until evenly mixed.
  3. Cut the puff pastry lengthways into two equal strips.
  4. Divide the pork mixture into two long sausage-shaped logs and place down the centre of each pastry strip.
  5. Roll the pastry over the filling, sealing the edge with a little beaten egg.
  6. Cut each long roll into 4 pieces.
  7. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  8. Air fry for 18–22 minutes, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 75°C).
