Air Frying

Baked Burrata Bomb

Baked Burrata Bomb

A warm, melty burrata dish baked in bubbling tomatoes and olive oil, then finished in the air fryer so the centre turns soft, gooey, and spoonable. Simple ingredients, big comfort energy.

Ingredients

  • 1 small cooking pan (oven-safe / air fryer safe)
  • 4–6 tbsp olive oil
  • Handful of cherry tomatoes (or chopped tomatoes)
  • 1–2 balls of Burrata
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Optional: chilli flakes or dried herbs

Preparation

  1. Add cherry tomatoes and olive oil to your small pan. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place in air fryer at 180°C for 10–15 minutes until tomatoes blister and oil is bubbling.
  3. Open the air fryer drawer and gently place burrata on top of the hot tomatoes.
  4. Close and cook for 1 minute just until the burrata warms and goes soft and gooey.
  5. Remove carefully and let it settle for a moment.
  6. Spoon the tomato-olive oil juices over the top as a sauce.
  7. Serve and cut into the burrata so the creamy centre spills out into the tomatoes.
