Smoked Mackerel Pâté

Servings: 8 - 10 Servings

Serve up this creamy smoked mackerel pâté as an impressive first course at your next dinner party. Taking only 15 minutes to make - this speedy starter is stress free and tastes delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 250g Smoked mackerel fillets
  • 100g Cottage cheese, drained of excess liquid
  • 120ml Greek yoghurt
  • Juice of ½ a lemon
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • Flat parsley, chopped

Directions:

  1. Remove any large bones from the fish and flake into the blender. Add the cottage cheese, yogurt, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pulse blend on high 4 or 5 times until well mixed.
  2. Check seasoning, then chill for several hours.
  3. Before serving garnish with chopped parsley
