Mango & Strawberry Sorbet

Mango & Strawberry Sorbet is a delicious and refreshing treat. It’s also simple to make and a great recipe to make with the kids. Recipe created by @myhungrylittlehelpers.

Ingredients:

  • 300g mango, chopped
  • 200g strawberries, chopped
  • 3 tbsp. runny honey
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 250ml water

Additional Fruit:

  • 60g strawberries, diced
  • 60g mango, diced

Directions:

  1. Add the mango, strawberries, honey, lemon juice and zest to a large mixing bowl. Using the Cordless Pro Hand Blender, with the blending attachment, process until smooth. Add the water and briefly process to combine.
  2. Chill for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Once chilled, whisk the mixture and pour into the Ice Cream & Gelato Professional, with the gelato paddle already fitted. Place the lid on and set the timer for 40 minutes, to start to churn.
  4. Five minutes before the end of churning, add the additional diced mango and strawberries.
  5. At the end of churning, the sorbet will be a soft scoop. If you want a firmer texture, place in an airtight container and freeze for several hours.
