Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and can be served with a variety of fillings, a baked potato is a quick and easy way of feeding the whole family.

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium sized baking potatoes
  • Olive oil or sunflower oil
  • Sea salt
  • Butter, to serve

Directions:

  1. Prick the baking potatoes all over with a fork. Coat them with a little oil and rub with salt.
  2. Place the prepared potatoes onto the baking tray and place in rack position 1. Set to roasts & pizzas, at 200˚C, for 20 minutes.
  3. Reduce the temperature to 170˚C and roast for a further 45 minutes to an hour.
  4. The baked potatoes are ready when the potato skins are crisp and the inside is soft.
  5. Make a cross in the centre of each potato and add the butter.
