French Toast with Grilled Nectarines

This delicious French Toast recipe with caramelized nectarines is perfect for a lazy weekend brunch. It's easy to make using our Griddle and Grill - simply open it out flat and you can caramelize the nectarines on one side whilst cooking your French toast on the other
Ingredients
- 150ml milk
- 6 eggs
- 4 thick slices bread
- 4 ripe nectarines
- 2 tbsp soft brown sugar
To serve
- Maple syrup
Preparation
- Cut the nectarines into quarters and toss them in a bowl with the sugar, set aside.
- Set up the Griddle & Grill with one flat griddle plate and one ribbed grill plate, Fully open the Griddle and Grill and set the temperature to 180ºC.
- Whisk together the milk and eggs. Place the bread slices into a shallow baking tray and pour over the egg mixture, making sure they are fully covered. Allow to soak for a minute.
- Once the Grill is up to temperature, place the nectarines and bread slices onto the grill and cook until the nectarines start to caramelize and the bread turns a golden colour.
- Serve the French Toast with the grilled nectarines and a drizzle of maple syrup
