Vegan Chocolate Ice Cream

Prep. Time: 30 mins (+ chilling time)

This delicious chocolate ice cream is rich and creamy and is completely dairy free. It's quick and easy to make using just 6 ingredients.


  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 140g of granulated sugar
  • 70g light brown sugar
  • 400ml tin of full fat coconut milk
  • 400ml almond milk
  • pinch of salt


  1. Whisk all the ingredients in a suitable bowl until there are no lumps. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Whisk the mixture again thoroughly before pouring into your ice cream maker with the ice cream paddle already fitted. Churn for approximately 20 minutes or until your ice cream begins to thicken.
  3. For a soft scoop serve immediately or place in a suitable container in the freezer until firm
