This week, we’re heading to the vibrant kitchens of Louisiana with our Homemade Cajun Seasoning! This smoky, spicy, and herbaceous blend is a powerhouse of flavour, perfect for elevating your fries, seafood, and grilled dishes. Whether you’re looking for a kick of heat or a bold marinade, Cajun seasoning is your go-to.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix It Up: Combine all the ingredients in your Cuisinart Spice Grinder and pulse until well blended

These golden, crispy Cajun fries are the perfect side dish or snack! Coated in a flavourful blend of spices and roasted to perfection, they pair wonderfully with grilled meats, fish, or can be enjoyed on their own. Simple to prepare and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 500g baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potatoes: Preheat your air fryer oven to 200°C. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil and Cajun Seasoning until evenly coated.
  2. Roast: Spread the potatoes out on the baking tray in a single layer. Roast for 25–30 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the potatoes are golden and crispy on the edges.
  3. Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy as a side for grilled chicken, fish, or steak—or as a standalone snack!
