Slightly different to the classic fluffy waffle, these Savoury Waffles uses coppa ham and grated cheese, in this simple recipe. Ideal for a tasty brunch or breakfast option.
Ingredients
- 125g all purpose flour
- 120ml beer
- 120ml milk
- 20g butter, melted
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
- 200g potatoes, grated
- 50g coppa ham, chopped
- 80g cheese, grated
- 3 tbsp. parsley, chopped
- 50g roasted hazelnuts, chopped
Preparation
- Pour the beer and milk into a bowl. Add the flour, salt, egg and melted butter.
- Using a Hand Mixer, mix to a smooth dough.
- Add the grated potatoes, coppa ham and grated cheese and mix again.
- Then add the parsley and hazelnuts and mix gently.
- Attached the waffle plates to the Waffle & Pancake Maker and set the temperature to medium.
- Pour a large spoonful of the batter in the centre of the waffle plate.
- Cook the waffles for 3 minutes and serve hot.
