Ensure you get the perfect, light and fluffy Pancakes every time, with this simple recipe., which can be ready in less than 10 minutes. Serve with fresh berries, crispy bacon and maple syrup for a tasty breakfast or delicious brunch.

Ingredients:

  • 120g self raising flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tbsp. caster sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 225ml milk
  • 1 medium egg
  • 15g butter, melted

To Serve:

  • Fresh blueberries
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Cooked bacon
  • Maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Insert the pancake plates into the Waffle & Pancake Maker and preheat to medium.
  2. Place the self raising flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large bowl and mix together, until there are no lumps.
  3. In a separate bowl, lightly whisk together the milk and egg, then whisk in the melted butter.
  4. Gradually add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients, whilst whisking, until you have a smooth batter.
  5. When the green indicator light shows, pour the pancake batter into each of the lower moulds, until it just fills to the top (approximately 50ml).
  6. Close the lid and cook for approximately 3 minutes, or until golden in colour.
  7. Remove from the mould and continue to cook the remaining batter.
  8. Serve with fresh berries, cooked bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup.

Tip: Allowing the batter to rest, for up to an hour in the fridge, before cooking, will give a lighter pancake.
