Mackerel Pâte

Mackerel Pâté is quick and easy to make at home with just a few ingredients. It boasts many fantastic health benefits and makes a great starter, light lunch or a tasty snack for the whole family to enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 130g smoked mackerel fillets, skinned & boned
  • 100g cottage cheese, drained of excess liquid
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Flat leaf parsley, small bunch
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Directions:

  1. Place all the ingredients, except the parsley, into a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Check for seasoning before placing into a bowl.
  3. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
