2 Ingredient Protein Bagels 

Soft on the inside with a golden crust, these Air Fryer Protein Bagels are an easy, high-protein bake made with just Greek yoghurt and self-raising flour. Finished with simple toppings like flaky salt or sesame seeds, they’re perfect for quick breakfasts, snacks, or sandwich bagels — no yeast, no kneading, no oven needed.

Ingredients

  • 200g Greek yoghurt (0–2%) 
  • 200g self-raising flour 
  • Pinch of salt (for topping) 
  • Sesame seeds (or your favourite toppings) 

Preparation

  1. Add the Greek yoghurt and self-raising flour to a bowl and mix until a soft dough forms. 
  2. Lightly flour a surface and knead the dough briefly until smooth. 
  3. Divide the dough into 7 equal pieces. Roll each into a ball, then poke a hole through the centre and gently stretch to form a bagel shape. 
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C. 
  5. Place the bagels in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. 
  6. Sprinkle with flaky salt, sesame seeds, or your chosen toppings. 
  7. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and cooked through. 
  8. Remove and cool slightly before serving.
