      The 2 in 1 Grill and Sandwich Maker comes with interchangeable, dishwasher safe, grill and sandwich plates, so it can be used to make a variety of recipes.

      The grill plates can be used for grilling meat, fish and vegetables, as well as making paninis and much more. The floating hinge allows the top plate to rest gently over your food, cooking it from both sides, to give succulent results in half the time.

      The deep fill sandwich plates have been designed to accommodate even the thickest slices of bread and the locking handle helps to brown and seal the perfect toasted sandwich, every time. The sandwich plates can also be used to make omelettes, calzone, frittatas and quesadillas, as well as sweet treats such as French toast and pastries.

      It also features an integrated drip tray, which discreetly collects any excess fats, when grilling, for healthier cooking. The compact size means it’s small enough to leave out on your worktop or store in a cupboard and only take it out when needed.

      Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile 2 in 1 Toaster We needed a new sandwich toaster, the grill and sandwich maker looked good and could do panini's as well, the unit is well built and designed, it heats up quickly and toasts evenly, the hinged top plate works with even the thickest panini or sandwich, easy to clean and swap the heat plates, we have not used the grill for cooking yet but given the heat and clever fat run off should work well, slightly expensive but looks like it will give good service.

      Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thanks Cuisinart for another great product This grill does what it says on the box and is ideal for cooking for 1 - 2 people. It comes with a recipe book, and there are more recipes on Cuisinart’s website. The grill is brilliant for grilled fish steaks - salmon, tuna, swordfish etc – very quick and tasty, concentrating the heat where it’s needed. It will do two at a time, so for visitors (one day soon!) you’ll need to cook in batches. Whilst not too heavy, it feels solid and is easy to dismantle and clean; switching the plates between grill and sandwich-maker is very simple. The sandwich maker function has been less useful so far, largely because we’re mainly buying sourdough at the moment and the bread isn’t the right shape! The recipes look tempting, though. The only real down-side is the length of the lead: another 30 cm would have given us much more flexibility in our small kitchen. As non-meat-eaters we’d have liked more vegetable and fish recipes, but that’s a minor point and is actually making us more creative in our cooking. We already had a Cuisinart food processor and the grill/sandwich maker is another successful addition to our kitchen gadgets. Thanks, Cuisinart!
